核心竞争力概念自1990年被提出以来,运用核心竞争力理论来指导企业经营战略已成为一种新的潮流。越来越多的人认识到,企业要在未来的市场竞争中赢得持续竞争优势并获取丰厚利润,就必须拥有自己的核心竞争力,企业核心竞争力已经成为企业生存发展的关键。企业核心竞争力具有价值性、独特性、系统性、动态性、延展性五大特点,可以分为管理能力、技术能力、组织能力、制度体系、核心价值观五个基本要素。 本文引入路径依赖理论对企业核心竞争力进行研究。路径依赖是指一个具有正反馈机制的体系,一旦在外部性偶然事件的影响下被系统采纳,便会沿着一定的路径发展演进,很难为其他潜在的甚至更优的体系所取代,而被锁定在无效的路径上。路径依赖的产生原因是多方面的,主要包括以下几种:市场的初始状态、市场的报酬递增、历史突发小事件、网络外部性、转换成本以及学习效应等。本文在对企业核心竞争力的路径依赖特性进行论证的基础上,探寻企业核心竞争力的培育措施,比如确立有效的企业战略、大力推进技术创新、努力实施管理创新、加强人力资源开发、打造学习型组织、塑造优秀的企业文化等等。本文还试图对企业核心竞争力路径依赖的破解提供一些思路,其主要路径破解方式包括:企业的战略行为、企业的异质性、企业接近发展极限、企业家的创新行为、引入外部冲击。 论文的研究共分为四大部分。首先回顾了企业核心竞争力和路径依赖的基本内容,然后探讨路径依赖的形成过程、路径锁定的机制、路径突破的可能性,以及企业核心竞争力各个要素的路径依赖特性。再针对我国企业在核心竞争力方面存在的问题,提出了基于路径依赖的企业核心竞争力培育方法以及路径破解的措施。最后在案例研究中以湖南九芝堂为对象,从路径依赖角度实际探讨该公司的核心竞争力,并提出了基于路径依赖的核心竞争力发展措施。 通过本文的分析,希望能够从路径依赖角度方面丰富和发展企业核心竞争力理论的同时,能为企业就如何有效地制定和实施核心竞争力战略提供一种有价值的思路。
Since the concept of core competence was put forward in 1990, more and more enterprises began to apply corporate competence theory to guide their strategy. There is an increasing recognition that enterprises must have their own core competence if they want to win competition and obtain huge profits. It is characterized by value, uniqueness system and extension, and has five basic elements such as management ability, technology ability, organization ability, regulation and enterprise culture. This thesis adopts path dependence theory to research core competence. Path dependence refers to one system with positive feedback mechanism, if an external occasional event is adopted, this system will follow certain path to evolve. What is more, on this condition, this system is difficult to be replaced by other ones, even if they are better. The reasons why technological path dependence occurs include initial state of the market, the increasing return of the market, accidental historical events, positive network externalities, the cost of conversion and learning effects, etc. After discusses core competence"s path dependence, this thesis explores some ways to develop the core competence, such as establishing right strategy, promoting technical and management innovation, strengthening HR development, molding excellent organization culture and learning organization. This thesis also attempts to offer some ideas to lock out these path dependences, including enterprise"s strategic behavior, enterprise"s heterogeneity and development margin, entrepreneur"s innovation, introducing the external shock. The thesis is divided into 4 main parts. Firstly, reviews recent thories, explores the process of path dependence, the mechanism of lock-in, the feasibility of path breakthrough and path development of every element of core competence. Then put forward some measures to develop core competence and ways to break the path dependence. At last, Hunan Jiuzhitang"s core competence is researched from the view of path development as a case, and puts forward some measures for Jiuzhitang"s core competence development based on path dependence. The writer hopes that the study can further the theory of core competence from the view of path development and promote its research, and expects this thesis will provide valuable ideas for enterprises to make up and carry out core competence strategy efficiently.
