自新中国成立以来，我国城乡居民收入差距水平一直在世界前端居高不下，这种态势随着工业化进程的加速更是出现了不断扩大化的趋势。城乡居民收入不断扩大化的态势既是目前我国收入分配领域中面临的最大问题，也是事关改革深入进行、经济可持续发展、社会和民心稳定，以及全面建设小康社会的最终实现和现代化建设成败的重大问题。因此无论是从社会发展的层面还是从学术研究层面上都必须予以高度关注。本文从我国城乡居民收入差距基本变动轨迹入手，在深入剖析其特点、成因的基础上重点探讨能够适应有中国特色社会主义市场经济发展要求的城乡居民收入差距调节对策及建议。全文共分四个部分。第一部分 关于城乡居民收入差距概念的界定。主要阐述收入差距的含义及收入差距的度量。第二部分 关于我国城乡居民收入差距的现状及特点。从1978年改革开放至今，我国城乡居民收入差距的变动大体上呈现出先缩小后扩大的走势，其特点主要表现为明显的地域性。第三部分 关于我国城乡居民收入差距扩大化的原因。主要是从社会经济发展、经济体制、政策作用三大方面进行综合探讨。第四部分 关于缩小城乡居民收入差距的对策。主要是从弱化城乡二元社会结构、积极发展农业和农村积经济，以及加强国家对城乡居民收入的宏观调控等角度提出相关的对策及建议。
Since 1949, the income differences between urban and rural residents in China is always much higher than the average level of the world. And along with the steps of industrialization, the differences also become larger and larger. The expanded situation of the income differences between urban and rural residents not only is the biggest problem in the field of income distribution, but also concerns many great important issues such as furthering the prosecution of China’s reform, developing sustainable, stabilizing the morale and the society, realizing a mid-wealth society and achieving the modernization. Therefore no matter from the section of the development of the society or the section of learning, we must pay special attention to this situation. In this disquisition I will anatomize the deeper characteristics, causes of formation and the affections on the development of social politics and economy according to the basic changing track of the incomes between urban and rural residents. Based on these items I’d like to give some advices and find some ways to accommodate the different incomes between urban and rural residents, which could be suitable to our Chinese characteristic socialism market economy.There are five parts in this disquisition.1, it is on the definition of the income differences between urban and rural residents. it is mainly expound the signification and the measurement of the income differences.2, it is on the actuality and characteristic of the income differences between urban and rural residents. Since opening up in 1978, the track of the alteration of the income differences between urban and rural residents is from dwindling to expanding. The main feature represents an evidenced difference among different areas. 3, it is on the cause of the income differences between urban and rural residents, which is mainly concerned from the social economy development, economy system to policy operation.4, it is on the countermeasures of how to dwindle the income differences between urban and rural residents. it mainly talks about the advices and countermeasures of how to weaken the bi-element（town and city）society and how to faster the agriculture and countryside economy, as well as how to strengthen the regulation of macrostructure towards the income of urban and rural residents.
