Because the electric current detect block has decided the compensation capability of the APF. Then this thesis emphasizes the research of the question about the harmonic current detection. In the same time, making the design and simulation about the main electro circuit parameter and control circuit of the APF.The research is mainly about the harmonic current detection method that based on the instantaneous reactive power theory. And then put forward the real-time detection of the single-phase circuit and reactive current. The realized methode is the artificial circuit. It can detect respectively or synthetically the harmonic current, reactive current and negative-sequence current.The simulation tool MATLAB was used to study on the simulation.
