中部崛起是中国区域经济协调发展的需要，作为人口大省、农业大省的河南的发展，在中部崛起中有着举足轻重的地位。中原城市群的建设是实现河南发展、中原崛起的重要举措和手段。城市群空间结构是城市群发育程度、阶段与过程的空间反映。城市群发展必然伴随着城市群空间结构的变化，反过来城市群空间结构的优化也促进了城市群功能的完善。研究中原城市群的空间结构特征，揭示其形成、发展的规律与机制，预测其发展趋势，以便为政府的宏观调控提供科学的决策依据，有着重要的实践意义。 建立在城市群及城市群空间结构理论的基础上，本文搜集并整理了大量统计数据，应用回归、纵向对比、横向对比等多种方法分析了中原城市群的空间结构特征。实证分析表明中原城市群存在一体化程度低、结构松散、总体发展水平不高、城市群内部格局不均衡、中心城市核心地位不够突出等多方面的问题。在此基础上，提出了中原城市群空间整合的构想及空间优化的对策。 本文分为五个部分，第一部分介绍选题背景及研究思路与框架；第二部分回顾了国内外对城市群及城市群空间结构的研究；第三部分对中原城市群的空间范围做了界定，分析了其区域背景特征并回顾了中原地区城市的演化历程；第四部分从城市规模结构、职能结构、综合交通通信网、城市流强度、都市区与都市连绵区、大都市区的集聚与扩散等多角度对中原城市群空间结构做了详细的分析；第五部分指出了中原城市群空间结构存在的问题，并提出了中原城市群空间整合战略构想及空间优化的对策。
TO promote the regional economic development in Harmony needs the rise of the middle part of China. Henan province plays an important role in the rise of the middle part of China as a big agriculture-dominated province with heavy population burden. Central Henan urban agglomeration is one of the key means of Henan development and the rise of the middle part of China. Spatial Structure reflects the development degree, state and process of urban agglomeration.. In order to make the policy better on central Henan urban agglomeration, more investigations and researches are required.Based on the theory of urban agglomeration and spatial structure of urban agglomeration, the paper collects and processes a lot of data and analyzes the characters of spatial structure in central Henan urban agglomeration by using econometric models, regression analysis, longitudinal and lateral comparisons. Empirical studies indicates that central Henan agglomeration is low--standard in integration and development with unconsolidated structure, and Zhengzhous core position is not enough prominent.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part introduces the background research approach and Framework; The second part discusses the study on agglomeration, and its structure home and abroad; The third part defines spatial areas of central Henan urban agglomeration, making analysis of the regional actualities,
