音乐与文学之间始终存在着一种相互渗透的微妙关系。当作家有意识地借鉴音乐的表现手法时,这种关系常常成为其作品潜在的一种音乐气质,结构方面或者叙述方面都可能发生。如张承志的《黑骏马》浓郁的草原牧歌气质,托尼.莫里森作品的爵士乐气质,等等。而当音乐作为一种符号对写作这样一种表达形式构成“挑战”甚至对作家的文学理想、思想产生影响时,这种关系可能出现紧张的对峙,作家的写作便可能出现某种程度上的“迷失”。从音乐对沈从文影响的角度来看,沈从文的思想和创作正好暗合上述这种关系的发展。 一直以来,沈从文被称为独具风格的文体家,是现代文学史上抒情小说、诗化小说一脉的代表作家之一,他的风格给人的总体印象是“边城”式美丽忧伤的牧歌以及三十年代中后期四十年代的“抽象”特征。尽管人们对他的文体特征和创作转变作了种种的解读,却从未触及沈从文隐藏在内心的一个隐秘情结——音乐,而这个隐秘情结对他的思想和创作有着不可忽视的影响。本篇论文试着阐述的是在音乐这个隐秘情结视野下的沈从文的思想和创作。 论文首先阐述沈从文的音乐背景。沈从文出生在风光如画的湘西,那里人和自然和谐共处,自然万物的声息给予沈从文特殊的音乐感觉,自然的无言之教觉醒了沈从文的艺术官能。湘西巫文化的流风余韵至今犹存,祭祀歌舞无形地滋养人们的音乐灵魂;无处不在的山歌更是那里人们的一种生活本能,这些民间的音乐养分在沈从文的身上也有着鲜明的印迹。沈从文特别喜欢西方古典音乐,西方古典音乐不仅是他生活中休息的一种方式,还逐渐影响了他的思维方式,创作风格。 对音乐的爱好,使沈从文自觉不自觉地把很多的作品当作美妙的音乐作品来写。他把从自然和民间汲取来的中国音乐精神和从西方古典音乐理解的音乐精神结合起来,成了自己独具特色的“中乐为体,西乐为用”的结构“音乐作品”的方式,音乐的情怀也成就了沈从文特殊的写作风格——牧歌情调,《边城》是这种音乐作品的完美体现;一个无意的偶然——《棉鞋》竟是一首精巧的变奏曲,虽然还未发现这方面的更多“习作”,这终究是沈从文“各体习作”的一个收获。虽然《红卫星上天》是唯一一首沈从文明确地坦诚其结构受肖邦的第一钢琴协奏曲的启发,他的众多古体文化史诗实在是有着相似的理路。 沈从文的个人性格气质和审美感受的混沌性质决定了音乐对沈从文构成了一种表达上“影响的焦虑”,对抽象美丽的印象,沈从文认为只有音乐方能表达。而当抽象美丽印
There always has a subtle to-fro influence between music and literature.When a writer’s work draw lessons from music,the influence in stucture or narration became an invisible characte of the work. For example,the style of Zhangchengzhi’s and Tony Morrison’s jazz style,etc. It must have been a nervous relation in the writer’s inner-sense when music as a symbol like writing which has became a“threat”to the latter and who may lost itself, for it’s been worked well in some situation than the latter.IN the piont of the music’s influence Upon Shencongwen’s thought and writing’s view,the fact was just like we said above. For a long time,Shencongwen was been known as a characteristic stylist and he was a main writer with poetic novel style in chinese contemporary literature history.His work has been given an impression of tender and emotional like“A frontier town”and be diffucult to understand since the last 30’s to 40’s.Although,people have been seeking and explaining such a chang,not so many have been talk about seriously his interest which was deeply hided----music.And this has a very importan tinfluence on Shencongwen and can not to be ignorbled.This paper will try to explain Shencongwen’s thought and writing under the music as a secretary interest text.
