自主学习作为一种能力,对学生的终生学习,毕生发展具有极为重要的意义。自主学习的理论研究有着悠久的历史,在国外已取得了令人瞩目的成果,且在国内教学实践中也有所应用,但其推行范围不广,尤其是在英语教学这一领域内几乎只是刚刚开始。 本研究从自主学习体系的研究背景和发展概况入手,从自主学习的概念、理论基础及培养高中生自主学习能力的策略方法展开,通过对国内外几种自主学习模式的分析与比较,全面地讨论如何使用一种有效的手段,即利用多媒体环境和借助多媒体手段来促进学生自主学习。基于该环境下的自主学习体系,就是在计算机辅助语言教学(CALL)和网络优势的前提下,在教学过程中,使得学生带着一种积极要求了解问题、解决问题的强烈愿望与心情,用科学探究的方法,自主参与学习,从而达到解决疑问、掌握相应的知识与能力的目的;教师在学生的自主学习过程中所起的作用是启发、引导、帮助学生。由于自主学习是以科学研究的方法探索问题的学习过程,所以多媒体环境更加适合应用在自主性学习中,多媒体与网络能解决研究过程所需的大量资源,学生可个性化搜索语言学习资料,制作学习文字、图片、flash动画课件、视频资料等资源,并能帮助学生建立协作小组,展开探究式学习,同时使教师实现同、异步指导,最终达到比传统教学更好的效果。 本研究探讨多媒体环境下的教学模式,结合自己的教学实际设计新型的教学方法与步骤,采用文献综述法、问卷调查法、实验法等,提供相关的教学实例,通过对实验班、对照班成绩比较和前后问卷调查的分析,求证多媒体能促进培养学生英语自主学习能力的提高。研究表明,多媒体和网络技术的使用在实践中受到学生的喜爱,有利于激发学生自主学习的动机和兴趣,有助于学生建构完善的学习目标、学习方法策略、思维方式、知识体系和自我反思与评价的自主学习习惯。 希望本研究对其它实践多媒体教学的教师有所借鉴,对旨在培养学生自主学习能力的教师提供一些有价值的建议和方法,同时希望它能为构建科学、高效的高中英语课堂教学模式,促进高中课堂教学质量,促进高中生自主学习能力的提高提供一些思路。
Self-regulated learning (SRL) is of great significance in the students" lifelong study and life-long development. The theoretical research of SRI enjoys a long history in foreign countries, and great achievements have been made in this field. The idea of SRL has been employed in the domestic teaching practice to improve study effect. However, the application is not very wide and more should be clarified and explored. This paper starts with the literary survey of self-learning system. It surveys the concepts, theories of self-learning, as well as the methods and strategies of how to develop senior students" self-regulated learning abilities. By the analysis and comparison of self-learning systems in and outside of the country, this paper fully discusses how to take full advantage of multi-media surroundings to stimulate senior students" self-learning motivations. Self-learning supporting system is one which is based on multi-media surroundings, CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) and Internet. When carrying out self-learning study, students have strong motivation and wills to apply scientific research methods to understand and solve problems. They are willing to form cooperation groups to both study and to solve problems. Therefore, they can better master the related knowledge and their abilities can be greatly improved. In the self-learning system, teachers play a role of enlightening, guiding and helping students. With learning proceedings of researching problems with scientific methods, self-learning is suitable to the multi-media surroundings. Multi-medial surroundings and Internet can offer lots of resources, such as language learning materials, which can be books, articles, pictures, flashes, videos, and etc. All these can greatly facilitate the language learning and teaching process, at the same time guaranteeing better language learning effect when compared with traditional teaching methods. On the basis of my own teaching practice, this thesis introduces a new model of self-learning with the help of Multi-media surroundings. Our introduction is based on the analysis of related research done both at home and overseas. To make our result more convincing, we did an experiment and a questionnaire survey. By the comparison of the results and analysis of the questionnaire between the experimental class and the control class, the writer tries to prove both the feasibility and effectiveness of developing students" English self- learning abilities under multi-medial surroundings. The research result shows that the introduction of multi-media and Internet technology is welcomed in the teaching practice. The use of multi-media vehicles is effective to arouse students" self-learning motivations and interests; helpful to the construction of students" learning aims, learning methods, learning strategies, ways of thought, knowledge system, self reflection and comments and other self-learning habits. The writer hopes other teachers who are practicing this kind of teaching pattern can use this thesis for reference, and hopes it can also offer constructive suggestions to the teachers who intend to develop students" self-learning abilities.
