Methods: Ve studied the animal model of adjuvant arthritis(AA) in rats, and observed the effects of TBG on T Lymphocyte subpopulat ion , TNF-α , the primary and secondary lesions of AA in rats. Tripterygium wilfordi polyglycosidium tablet was used in the control group. Results: TBG had obviously prevent and treatable function on the primary and secondary lesions of AA in rats. It could reduce obviously the level of serum TNF-α and make the function of T Lymphocyte subpopulation normal. Conclusion: The TBG acted on AA in rats by improving distribution of T Lymphocyte subpopulation and the function of cellular immunity.
