西安是中华民族的发祥地之一，是国内外著名的历史文化古都，也是中国六大古都中建都朝代最多的城市，先后有十二个王朝在此建都，历经沧桑变迁。悠久的历史文化不断绵延、积淀，成为现代西安城市空间结构中深邃的文脉特征。 论文以西安城市的时空序列为主线，全面分析从西周以来城市空间结构的演替与变迁，简要论述西安作为华夏统一时期国都的城市空间结构的形态、布局特征和演替轨迹，力求探索西安城市空间结构演化的动力因素和深层结构。重点研究建国以来西安城市空间结构的演替过程，分析城市规划与城市空间结构演化的关系，认为城市规划对城市空间结构的扩展与演替具有指导作用，国家政策和社会政治对城市空间结构的扩展具有决定性作用，工业布局、经济发展、开发区建设是西安城市空间结构演替的动力因素。 论文从多个层面研究西安城市空间结构的组成要素及其演化特征，分析西安城市空间结构扩展的制约因素，对空间结构演替的主导因素和相关因素进行探讨，研究西安城市空间结构扩展的方向和导向，分析城市空间结构扩展的异质性特征。 运用分形方法，对西安旧城部分地段的空间形态进行测定，分析考察城市空间形态的随机性和涨落现象，计算其分数维。 分析探讨西安城市空间结构演化中的自组织与他组织、集聚与扩散、多系统协同等演替机制，提出西安未来城市空间结构的发展具有可持续化、生态化、信息化、注重历史文脉继承与保护、开放性与区域化等趋势。认为西安未来城市空间结构的构建，应在优化现有城市空间结构的同时，从更高的层次和更广阔的区域空间进行论证，通过行政区划的重新整合，建立舒展的开放的城市空间结构体系，形成一核三副多组团的空间结构模式，有效保护并合理开发众多的历史文化遗址，并与城市生态环境的重建相结合，促使城市向更高层次发展。
As one of the cradles of the Chinese nation, Xi"an is a most famous historical city in the world. With a capital history of twelve dynasties, it is one of the six most ancient capitals in China. The accumulation of long history and culture forms the deep texture in Xi"an city"s > spatial structure evolution.This essay takes Xi"an city"s space-time array as the main thread and comprehensively analyzes the evolution and change of Xi"an city"s spatial structure since Xizhou Dynasty. The author briefly discusses the urban spatial structure form, layout character and the evolution mechanism during the period when Xi"an is the capital of the united nations in Chinese history, so as to explore the motive power mechanism and the deep structure under Xi"an city"s spatial structure"s evolution.The essay pays more attention to the evolution process of Xi"an city"s spatial structure"s evolution since the foundation of P.R.C.. The relationship between urban planning and urban spatial structure"s evolution is discussed. The author insists that urban planning possess the guide function to urban spatial structure"s expansion and evolution; state policy and social politics are decisive to urban spatial structure"s expansion; industry arrangement, economic development and Development Zone"s construction are motive powers to Xi"an urban spatial structure"s evolution.The author, from different perspectives, studies Xi"an urban spatial structure"s components and their evolution characters. Then the restricted factors inflecting Xi"an urban spatial structure"s expansion are analyzed. The author also studies dominant and relevant factors influencing Xi"an urban spatial structure"s expansion. After the research of the expanding direction and leading factors of Xi"an spatial structure, the author insists that urban spatial expansion has the character of diversity.In the essay, fractional method is used to determine the spatial form of a certain site in the downtown of Xi"an city. The author analyzes urban spatial form"s random quality and rise and fall phenomenon, and then calculates its fractional dimension value.The author also studies the evolution mechanisms exist in Xi"an urban spatial structure"s evolution which are self-organization and organization mechanism, agglomeration and diffusion mechanism, ecological mechanism. The author raises the developing trends of the future urban spatial structure, which are sustainable, ecological, informational, regional and openness, at the same time, the historical relic and urban texture"s protection will be emphasized. The author suggests Xi"an urban spatial structure in the future should be based on the whole region around. Only in this way, can the too dense urban function be organically decentralized. To attain this goal , the adjustment of the administrative area of Xi"an must be solved. The author insists that the multi-core spatial structure can free the city from the dilemma of development and protection and available to the whole region"s development.
