农民工作为一个数量庞大的弱势群体，是我国政治稳定与发展中的一支重要力量，也是我们考察公民政治参与时不可忽视的重要阶层。但在现实中农民工的政治参与状况不容乐观，特别是在城市中，他们的政治参与还面临诸多因素的制约，其合法权益还难以得到有效保障。作为城市的外来人口，农民工几乎被排斥在城市政治生活之外，不能充分履行公民的权利与义务。本文拟从审视我国农民工城市政治参与的现状及特征入手，分析制约农民工城市政治参与的主要因素，并提出改善农民工城市政治参与的相应对策。 全文共分为四个部分： 第一部分：引言 提出了本文写作的背景与意义，阐述了农民工政治参与问题的研究现状；对本文的相关概念：政治参与、农民工、农民工政治参与作了明确的界定。 第二部分：阐述了我国农民工城市政治参与的现状及特征 通过本人问卷调查及其他学者的调查资料，分析了目前我国农民工城市政治参与的现状，包括农民工政治参与意识的萌发，农民工在城市政治参与中的比例较低。归纳了农民工城市政治参与的特征，包括政治参与目的明确，政治参与具有不均衡性，政治参与的强度不高，认同非制度参与四点。 第三部分：分析了我国农民工城市政治参与的制约因素 这是本文的重点部分。农民工城市政治参与受到如下因素的制约：缺乏物质

But in fact the condition of the working farmer politics participation is not optimistic especially in city, its politics participation faces many restriction factors. Its legal rights hard get the valid guarantee. Be the social minority community in city, the working farmer was rejected outside in the city political living, can"t implement the right and the duty of the citizen well.
