论文标题:强化式英语学习中的学习策略研究 A Study of the English Learning Strategies in the Intensive Learning Program 论文作者 陶嘉玮 论文导师 赵林,论文学位 硕士,论文专业 英语语言文学 论文单位 河北大学,点击次数 185,论文页数 68页File Size1001k 2005-05-08论文网 http://www.lw23.com/lunwen_38371922/ 英语;强化学习;学习策略;学习成绩 English; intensive learning; language learning strategies; learning achievement 国内外有关语言学习策略的研究表明,在英语学习过程中,有效的学习策略不仅可以改进学习方法,提高学习效果,还可以提高学习者的学习主动性。除了学习者的个体差异以外,环境因素也对学习者学习策略的形成和使用有较大的影响。强化式英语学习模式在我国社会力量办学的教育中普遍存在,这种教学模式在一些大专院校也有所尝试,但是在强化式英语学习模式下学习者使用学习策略的情况及特点还未见相关的研究报道。本文以强化式英语学习模式中的学习者为着眼点,对强化式英语学习中学习策略的使用特点及策略培训效果进行了研究。本研究选取了北京林业大学2002 级非英语专业4 个自然班的105 名本科生为研究对象,其中一个班(28 人)是非强化班,三个班(77 人)是英语强化班,英语强化班中有一个班(24 人)的学生经过策略培训。采用Oxford 学习策略调查问卷对上述学生的学习策略进行了问卷调查,并利用社会科学统计软件包SPSS 11.0 对调查数据进行了相关的统计分析。本研究不但针对英语强化班学生与非强化班学生在策略使用上的异同及其成绩差异的原因进行了研究,还对强化班中经过策略培训的学生与未经过策略培训的学生在策略使用上的差异及其学习效果等问题进行了研究。研究结果表明,强化式英语学习模式下和正常教学模式下,学生所采用的学习策略类似,强化式英语学习模式对学生学习策略的使用没有显著影响。但是,在强化式英语学习模式下学生的学习成绩明显优于正常模式下学生的学习成绩,这说明强化环境有利于提高学习效果。另外,在强化学习模式下,策略培训对学习者的策略使用有积极的影响,它不仅影响学习者对学习策略种类的选择和使用的频度,还对学习成绩的提高有着促进作用。 Researches on language learning strategies in China and abroad show that the use oflanguage learning strategies implies enhancement of foreign language learning and alsocontributes to the development of learning competence and learner autonomy. The findingsalso indicate that a number of factors are responsible for the effective use of learningstrategies, including individual learner differences and social factors.This study attempts to investigate the use of learning strategies in an intensive learningprogram. It consists of two studies. Study 1 compares and discusses the use of strategies bythe intensive program students and that by the regular program students, and the students’achievements in these two compared groups. Study 2 investigates the effect of strategytraining in the intensive program and makes a comparison of the students’achievementsbetween the strategy-instructed students and the non-strategy-instructed students.Four classes, all together 105 undergraduates from Beijing Forestry Universityparticipated in the research. One class of the four were from the regular program; three classeswere from the intensive program,but one of which were trained on learning strategies. TheStrategy Inventory for Language Learning (SILL) by Oxford and two proficiency tests are theprimary instruments. With the help of SPSS version 11.0, the analysis of the data was made.The findings of this study are as follows: 1) there is no significant difference in thestrategy use in the intensive program and that in the regular program. 2) There is a strong linkbetween intensive language learning and language achievement. 3) Strategy training canmanifest positive effects on strategy use, and the intensive program students mainly deploydirect strategies for learning. 4) Strategy training affects learner’s choice of learning strategiesin quantity and type, which leads to different learning outcome in degree and level ofachievement.
