作为辉映西晋文坛的一代名士,潘岳以其人其文的复杂性而饱受争议。本文试图对潘岳的一生作全面的观照,指出其人品构成的全体。同时以他的诗赋为主要研究对象,确定其在文学史上的地位。 在对潘岳的考察中,我们发现他并非某些文学史家口中简单化了的无行文人。他有佐君定邦的理想,也不乏关注民生的真情;既未坠“正道直言”的公心,亦难免依附权贵的俗行和沦为帮凶的污点;在宦海沉浮的痛苦中,萌生过隐逸山林的高情,却又不甘于“人未尽才”的勇退,这构成了潘岳人品的全体。而他也以诗赋为载体,向人们展现了自己复杂人性中淳化的一面。在这样的前提下,我们有理由对潘岳诗赋中的情感内涵和艺术开拓进行研究 在情感内涵方面,潘岳将当时广泛认同的“缘情”落到实处。在诗赋中,他深沉浓厚地表现了亲情的深挚动人,对民生的关切和宦海沉浮中的隐逸之思。它们都是潘岳内心世界不可剥离的组成部分,且都是情感的真实流露。 在艺术开拓方面,潘岳表现出了西晋文坛一代大家的风范。“悼亡”的开拓、“纪行”大赋的推进和以赋写隐逸之志的创造,这些承前启后的体式开拓,足以为他在文学史上划出一席之地。此外,“巧于序悲”的抒情结构和“浅而净”的语言特色,也表现出了迥别于陆机的独特面貌。 作为一个转折时代的文人,潘岳在他的诗赋中表现出的巨大创造才能和开拓之功,对西晋文学云蒸霞蔚局面的出现,作出了决定性的贡献。我们实在不能因为他人品上的缺失,而对他作出不公平的评价!
As a master of the West Jin Dynasty literary arena, Pan Yue is a contentious figure for the complexity of his personalities and his works. This paper aims to analysize the components of his personalities and to define Pan Yue’s position in literature through study of his poems and thymeproses. It is found that Pan Yue is not a literary man of no conduct ideal of some literarature historicalists have put ,Pan yue has his ideal of assisting the ruler and shows concern to the nation and the people’s livelihood; with sense of public duty it is unavoidable for Pan Yue to attach himself to bigwigs becoming an accomplice; tormented in official circle, Pan Yue feels like withdrawing to hermitage but still struggle to display his abilities. These compose the whole of Pan Yue’s personalities. His poems and thymeproses display thd pure and unsophisticated parts of his personalities and it is reasonable to study the emotion embodied in his works as well as his pioneering in artistic practice. As for the emotional content, Pan Yue puts the common belife of“conveying human emotion”into effect . Pan Yue describes touching family emotion, concern for the people and the desire for hermitage, these are inalienabe elements of Pan Yue’s personalities. As for artistic practice, Pan Yue’s writing shows a master’s style in the pioneering mourning poems, improved travels thymeproses and description of hermitage in the form of rhymeproses. These developments in literature forms earn Pan Yue a definite Position in literature history. In addition, Pan Yue’s skills in description of grieves and the feature of clear and clean language distinguish him from Lu Ji. As a literati in a turning time, giving impetus to literature practice, Pan Yue contributes a great deal to the literary arena of the West Jin Dynasty. It is unreasonable to give unfair evaluation to Pan Yue for the weaknesses in his personalities.
