社会主义基本制度在中国确立以来，我们党对社会主义发展阶段的认识，经历了一个艰难曲折的历史过程。从1956年到十一届三中全会之前的20多年间，是我们党对社会主义发展阶段的初步探索时期。这期间，我们党既在理论上提出过不少有价值的思想观点，但也在实践中犯过混淆和超越社会发展阶段的严重失误，总体来说，是我们党对社会主义发展阶段认识不清醒的时期。从党的十一届三中全会到党的十五大及其以后，是我们党对社会主义发展阶段的认识由不自觉到自觉、由不成熟到成熟、由不完善到比较完善的时期，在这一时期中，我们党对社会主义发展阶段的认识大体经历了三个阶段：第一阶段，从党的十一届三中全会到党的十二届六中全会，是对社会主义初级阶段初步认识和理论酝酿阶段。这一阶段，我们党先后三次提出社会主义初级阶段的概念，但尚未从理论上作出全面而深刻的阐述。第二阶段，从党的十三大到党的十四大，是对社会主义初级阶段认识成熟和理论形成阶段。党的十三大第一次比较系统地论述了我国社会主义初级阶段理论，提出并形成了党在社会主义初级阶段的基本路线，十四大又把社会主义初级阶段理论作为邓小平理论的主要内容之一加以阐发，强调要毫不动摇地坚持党的基本路线。第三阶段，从党的十四大到党的十五大及其以后，是对社会主义初级阶段认识深化和发展阶段。十五大的召开，标志着我们党对社会主义初级阶段理论的认识已经达到一个新的水平和境界。本文在分析社会主义发展阶段这一历史过程的基础上，肯定了我们党对创立社会主义初级阶段理论的重大贡献，指出了社会主义初级阶段理论提出和形成的重大理论意义和实践意义。为我们系统而深刻地理解邓小平理论的科学体系，全面推进建设有中国特色社会主义的伟大事业提供了思想理论基础。 2
Abstract Since the basic system of? Socialism was confirmed, our Chinese Communist抯 cognition for Socialism developing stage had been experienced the hard and tortuous course: In our communist party nobody has any kind of clear cognition for Socialism in Development Stage from 1956 to 1979(before the opening of The eleventh National People抯 Congress and third conference of Central Committee of the Communist party of China). Although our party put forward some precious views in the theory, fault of delay and overstep has also been appeai-ed during this stage. After The eleventh NPC and third conference of Central Committee of the Communist party of China, Our Chinese Communist抯 cognition about Socialism in Primary Stage was from unconsciousness period converting to self-consciousness period, it experienced about three periods: In the first period, from The eleventh National People抯 Congress and third conference of Central Committee of the Communist party of China to The twelfth National People抯 Congress and sixth conference of Central Committee of the Communist party of China, it is the stage of primary theory coonition and deliberation about Socialism in Primary Stage. Our party put forward the concept of Socialism in Primary Stage in this stage, but not have any profound and general elucidationes in theory. In second period, form the thirteenth NPC and the fourteenth NPC, it is the mature cognition period to Socialism in Primary Stage. It is the first time to expatiate on the Theory of our Socialism in Primary Stage by the members on The thirteenth NPC, also 2 definitely generalize and roundly elucidate the basic route of our party, on the Fourteenth NPC the theoiy of Socialism in Primaiy Stage was take as one of central content in the theory of Dengxiaoping to elucidate again, also emphasized on insisting on our party抯 basic route firmly. The third period, form fourteenth NPC to fifteenth NPC, it is the deepness and development period of Chinese Communist抯 cognition for Socialism in Primary Stage. The opening of fifteenth NPC symbolized our party抯 cognition for the theory of Socialism抯 Primaiy Stage is up to a new level and realm. On the basis of analyzing the history of Socialism in developing stage, this article affirms the important contributions of our party towards the establishment the theory of Socialism in Primaiy Stage, put forward the important academic significance and practical significance of understanding correctly and holding exactly the theoiy of Socialism in Primary Stage. This article also provide the theory basis of letting us systematic and profound understand about theory of Dengxiaoping and filly put forward the great cause of establishing Socialism with Chinese characteristics.
