However, algorithms about digital watermark have to be integrated with watermarking protocols to get into practical use. Thus, this paper studies secure digital watermarking protocols with theories and techniques of modern cryptography, which is important for the protection of copyright of digital work and trading over the Internet.The main contributions of this paper are:1. A new secure watermarking scheme is proposed, which resists efficiently the current known watermarking protocol attacks.2. A secure buyer-seller watermarking protocol is proposed. This new protocol effectively excludes any possibilities of stealing watermarks, therefore enables the users to secure their identities and the copyrights. Simultaneously, it blocks any potential man-in-the-middle attack, and also protects the buyers and the resellers" legitimate rights when a second-hand transaction is concerned.
