In the late 1980s, it came to China and have a significant impact on cultural fields, such as literature, arts, politics, education, media etc., and represent a series of post-modern cultural identity. City Pictorial is an urban lifestyle magazine which grow rapidly and popular among young people in recent years. It has unique perspective of the report and particular topics, moreover, it has sensitive and minete narratives, nature of visual culture, consumerism culture and the spirit of play, all these make City Pictorial showing characteristics of modern culture and has become a unique magazine. Given the post-modern culture"s profound influence, especially after it combine with mass media, we take City Pictorial as the research object in this paper, we will explore its post-modern cultural identities, to analyse the post-modern cultural impact on mass midia and discuss mass midea especially magazine how to face the post-modern cultural impact.
