“七”体是指由西汉枚乘首创的一种以“七”名篇且着力铺陈七事以寓劝谏的文体形式。此种文体在汉魏六朝创作非常繁荣，有专集出现，但隋唐以后渐趋衰落，创作日少。由于此体作品的体制内容大都雷同，属模仿的系列之作，且兴盛的时间不长，故而后代评价不高，也没有引起足够的重视。 本文在详尽搜罗汉魏六朝“七”体作品和历代文人的评论的基础上，采用内部研究和外部研究相结合的方法，即一方面注重对文学作品本身的探讨，另一方面对文学作品与作家所处的时代特点、社会环境、个人经历、思想才情等方面的关系进行研究，论述了“七”体的界定、渊源及在汉魏六朝的演进情况，这应该说无论对“七”体本身，还是对中国文学史或文体发展史的研究，都是很有意义的。 主要观点有：“七”作为文体最早被挚虞提出，到南北朝得到普遍承认；“七”体是赋的分支，具有与其它赋类相区别的特点，其基本体制由西汉枚乘《七发》确立；七体在其流变过程中，招隐取代问疾成为题材上的突破，仕隐之辩为文人表述个人情性、价值取舍及德政标准提供了合适的途径，折射了思想界的矛盾斗争；艺术上的新变表现为人物取名的艺术化和人物的观念化以及在内容形式相互因袭的前提下片面追求艺术技巧的倾向。
The "Qi" Style is a literary style first established by Mei Cheng in the Western Han Dynasty, which is named after "Qi" and narrates in detail seven affairs to contain remonstration. This literary style flourished during the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, appeared literature collection. However, its creation declined little by little after Sui and Tang Dynasties. The system and content of this literary style are mostly identical because they belongs to series which are imitated each other. In addition, it flourished in a short time. As a result, critics in later dynasties didn" t value it much and pay enough attention to it.This dissertation have gathered the detailed works of the "Qi" Style during the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties and the comments of the man of letters in the past ages. On this basis, the dissertation expounds the defination, origin and evolution of the "Qi" Style during the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties according to the means of integrating the inside research and the outside research, which pays attention to the research on the literature works themselves on the one hand while on the other hand studies the relations between the literature works and the times characteristic, social circumstances in which the writers existed, indiviual experience, thought, literary talent of the writers. As a result, it does good to the research on the "Qi" Style as well as the history of the Chinese ancient literature or the literary style.The main views of the dissertation are as follows: as aliterary style, the "Qi" Style was first put forward by Zhi Yu and it was widely recognized in the Northern and Southern Dynasties;being a branch of Fu, it has its characteristic different from the other branches of Fu and its basic system is established by Mei Cheng" s <> in the Western Han Dynasty; in its development, the Recruiting Hermit which took the place of Asking Sickness became the breakthrough of the subject matter, then the debate about official and hermit provided an appropriate way for the man of letters to express their private feelings, value choice and the moral梡olitical criterion, which reflected the conflict in the ideological circle; the changes in the artistic quality are shown in the artistry of the characters" names, the idealization of the characters, the tendency to pursue art skill unilaterally in the premise of copying the content and form each other.
