中日关系互为中日两国最重要的双边关系之一，但目前中日关系的状况却不容乐观：两国政治关系极为冷淡，两国首脑互访已中断四年；两国经济往来虽然密切，但却有“变凉”的危险；民间关系上，两国民众互生嫌隙，彼此亲近感不断下降。在这种情况下，我们有必要更加重视中日关系，更深入地研究中日关系。 在以往对中日关系的研究中，国内外学者多侧重于运用现实主义、自由主义的范式以及从国内因素视角来进行分析，但这些范式和视角都存在这样或那样的问题，其解释力有限，不能全面地对中日关系进行解释和分析，因此，要更全面地分析中日关系，我们需要新的研究范式和视角。在本文中，笔者尝试用建构主义理论来分析中日关系现状。 建构主义作为西方国际关系理论中新兴的主流学派之一，具有自己独特的理论视角，它将社会学的研究方法引入国际关系领域。建构主义以文化作为自己理论的核心概念，认为文化建构国家的身份和利益，而身份和利益决定了国家的行为。需要说明的是，建构主义强调的文化是国际体系文化或称共有文化，它是在国家互动的进程中产生的。建构主义同新现实主义一样，强调的是体系层面的因素，因此，建构主义同样是体系理论。 以建构主义来分析中日关系，我们就可以发现，中日两国之间的矛盾实质上是两国角色认知上的分歧和共有文化上的缺乏所致。20世纪70年代建立的中日关系模式已不能适应中日两国在角色转变后的需求，因此，要改善两国关系，必须从培育两国积极的共有文化入手，努力扭转目前中日关系不断恶化的趋势，变中日间的恶性竞争为积极的良性互动。只要中日两国能够将积极的良性互动保持一定的强度和时间，在两国之间建立起一定的积极的共有文化，中日关系就能发生一个根本性的变化。
Sino-Japan relations are one of most important bilateral relations for each other. However, current Sino-Japan relations are worsening. Bilateral political relations are fearfully cold, Exchange visits of leaders of two sides already have broken off for four years and more; Economic exchanges and trades of two sides are greatly frequent, but there is a possibility to cooling; Civilian relations of two sides are also bad, populace of two nations come into being ill will to each other, bilateral friendship are declining. In these circumstances, it is more necessary to attach importance to study Sino-Japan relations.By reading former works on Sino-Japan relations, we can find that most of domestic and foreign scholars emphasize particularly on Realism, liberalism and internal factors, but these paradigms and visual angles are not all-sided and can"t comprehensively explain Sino-Japan relations, so we need some new paradigms and theories to study Sino-Japan relations furthermore. In this paper, the writer attempt to use constructivism to study Sino-Japan relations.Constructivism is one of mainstream theories in west international relations (IR); it has particular sight that it introduces social studying methods into IR. Constructivism looks upon culture as its central concept. Culture construct identities and interests of nations, identity and interest result in actions of nations. In addition, the culture of constructivism emphasized is international system culture (shared culture) that is made in the process of national interaction. Being the same as neo-realism, constructivism emphasizes factors of system, so it also is a systematic theory.Making use of constructivism to explain actualities of Sino-Japan relations, we can find that the essential of Sino-Japan conflicts are differences in role-cognizing of two sides and lack of trust. Pattern of Sino-Japan relations made in 1970s is already not content with the need of China and Japan when their roles have changed, so, for improving Sino-Japan relations, we should begin from cultivating good shared culture between China and Japan, make great efforts to turn the current worsening trend of Sino-Japan relations, turn negative competitions as active good interactions. If China and Japan can keep the good interactions some intensity and time to make active shared culture,Sino-Japan relations will have a fundamental change.
