进入21世纪，由于科学技术不断进步和经济的不断发展、全球化信息网络和全球化市场已经形成，围绕新产品的市场竞争日趋激烈。技术进步和需求多样化使得产品寿命周期不断缩短，企业面临着缩短交货期、提高产品质量、降低成本和改进服务的压力。所有这些都要求企业能对不断变化的市场做出快速反应，源源不断地开发出满足用户需求的、定制的“个性化产品”去占领市场以赢得竞争。世界范围内的学者、管理学家早在70年代开始，就已认识到并开始研究外部竞争环境的变化对企业管理模式的影响，先后从技术和组织的角度提出了许多适应竞争环境变化的有效方法。这些技术和理念分别从不同的角度分析和解决了企业的现存问题，为企业适应新的市场竞争环境提供了良好的方法、工具，在企业范围内得到广泛的应用，尤其是国际知名大企业无一不是先进制造技术和管理理念的积极推动者。 大连机车车辆厂是一个有百年历史的传统企业，如何利用先进制造技术、管理技术、信息技术对企业的改造是一个既紧迫又谨慎的问题。本文的主要研究目的不是再提出什么新的制造技术的概念和理论，而是结合“以高新技术改造老工业，以信息技术带动传统产业发展，实现我国经济的跳跃式发展”这一总体思路和企业实际情况，把计算机集成制造、敏捷制造、大规模定制、管理创新以及制造企业信息化等已有的理论和概念加以具体化，对先进制造技术在大连机车车辆厂的有效应用做一些研究。
At the threshold of the 21~ century, owing to the further progress of science and technology and the development of economy a global information network and marketplace has already come into being, hence the market competitions focusing on new product development are becoming more and more fierce. Because the improved technology and diverse customer demands increasingly shorten product lifecycle, manufacturing firms are confronted with challenges of shortening lead-time, improving product quality, reducing cost and ameliorating service. All of these oblige enterprises to react to varying marketplace quickly and to develop uninterruptedly customized ndividual product?to meet customer needs in order to occupy the market and achieve sustainable competitive advantages. As early as the 70s, scholars and managerialists all over the world had realized and set about investigating the influence of varying external competitive environment on firms?administrant pattern, successively presented many effective methods to enable firms to adapt to variation of competitive environment from the perspective of technology and organization. These technologies and theories analyzed and resolved enterprises?existing problems respectively from different points of view, provided enterprises with good means and tools to adapt to new market competitive circumstance. They are widely used through whole enterprises, especially in those famous international giants, which are all positive impellers of advanced manufacturing technologies and managing theory unexceptionally. Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works is a traditional manufacturing enterprise with a history of 100 years. How to utilize advanced manufacturing technologies, managing means, information technology to transform the enterprise is an imperative and cautious issue. The main objective of this article is not to propose some new manufacturing conception or theory, but to combine the holistic thought of rive traditional industries by means of information technology, realize economic leap development of our nation?with enterprises?practical conditions, to embody existing theories and concepts such as computer integrated manufacturing, agile manufacturing, mass customization, managing innovation and enterprises informationization, and to work over the effective application of advanced manufacturing technologies on Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Works.
