戏剧教育的理念是把戏剧的结构化解为一个个要素,融入教育的过程中,强调戏剧在教育过程中的特殊功能。它不以戏剧知识和表演技能的学习为目的,而是注重通过戏剧方式对学生进行一些认识社会、思考人生、选择生活及增强自身素质修养的培训。它是一种教育性质的戏剧活动,或者说是戏剧方式的教育活动。重视中学语文戏剧教学不仅有语言学,文化学的意义,更有心理学的意义.它能激发学生的学习兴趣,促进学生身心健康发展,并且符合新课标关于培养学生的听说读写的语文能力的要求。通过戏剧学习的策略,增强学生对文学作品的理解与领悟,并让学生尝试编写课本剧,课外自创、自编剧本及排演戏剧。先确定活动的内容与要求,选择具有价值并能展示多样性人生的主题,应用戏剧的张力创造教学效果,整个活动程序包括计划、解说与规范、扮演、评论、复演五个步骤。戏剧教学对教师的教学能力与态度都提出了较高的要求,既要有独特的创意与方法,又要能够抓住问题的实质,协助学生进行创作上的拓展,教师不作强迫式的解说或教导,对学生的创作成果要表现出正面肯定与赞许。教学的最后环节是教学评价,包括学生学习的评价与教师教学的评价。
