世纪之交,在中国的画坛涌现了一批以反映农民和农民工为主体的艺术家,这些画家最大的特点是在继承传统现实主义的基础上,将油画的艺术表现形式同现实的社会问题紧密结合,以家园、故土为题材背景,以农民和农民工为主要素材,在吸收中外艺术精华的基础上,通过语言、形式、技法等表现手法达到对农民的生活和生存状态的展现,在画坛吹起了一股清新明丽的画风。他们面对风起云涌的国内外各种艺术思潮,能够心如止水的执迷于现实主义,默默的实践着中国油画的本土化。那么新现实主义画派出现的原因及前景如何? 笔者从对现实主义的渊源,油画艺术在中国的发展历程以及“三农”问题的时代背景等几个方面进行剖析。通过对孙为民等七位画家的代表作品的分析,认为新现实主义的出现既有时代的影响,又与他们对农民的深厚感情有着必然的联系。特别是艺术家们在聚焦改革开放以后,农民工涌入城市受到社会的漠视与歧视时所表现出的迷茫与困惑。以一个艺术家所应该有的社会责任感去为他们呐喊、助威。
At the turn of the century, many new realism artists who take reflecting farmers and agricultural workers as the subject emerged in Chinese Art Circles. The biggest character of these artists is that based on the inheriting the traditional realism, they combine the art representation form of oil-painting with realistic social issues, taking homeland and native land as their subject matter background, farmers and agricultural workers as their main source material. Based on the quintessence both from china and foreign countries, showing farmers life and techniques, etc, they bring in a new painting style of art in art circle. Facing the great variety of art trend Chinese Oil-painting. So why dies the new realism school emerge and what is the prospect of it? The present author analyzes the realism origin, the developing course of oil painting art in china, and the times background of“three-farming”issues. By analyzing the works of seven artists such as Sunweimin, etc the influencing of the times, and in their strong feelings towards farmer. Especially ,when the artists are focusing on the times after the reforming and opening period, they find that when farmers swarmed into cities, being ignored and looked down upon by the society, farmers show perplexed and puzzled .Artists should take shouting and cheering for their social responsibility.
