论文在目前流行开发嵌入式系统的背景下,选择了基于ARM架构的S3C4480处理器作为本研究内容的硬件基础。以S3C4480为核心设计开发出了作为嵌入uClinux操作系统的硬件平台。作为研究uClinux操作系统的环境,硬件平台扩展了USB、串口及液晶显示器接口,体现了作为一个开发环境所具有的基本功能。论文详细说明了各部分的电路原理及设计方法。 uClinux操作系统的运行与嵌入式系统的硬件平台直接相关的,在不同的硬件上嵌入的uClinux差异也较大。本论文针对所设计的硬件平台,分析uClinux的内核结构。根据操作系统内存及文件管理机制,给出了uClinux小型化的方法。在此基础上,论文参考了4510上已经运行成功的uClinux操作系统版本,详细给出了uClinux移植过程,对uClinux部分源码进行了改造,给出了修改部分的内容。最后总结了对内核源码改造的重点,以及需要注意的问题,并成功的实现了uClinux在此硬件平台上的嵌入与运行。 在完成操作系统嵌入之后,论文还以液晶显示器(LCD)为对象,研究与探讨了驱动程序的开发,并具体地设计了LCD驱动程序,给出了如何编译进内核的方法。 论文主要从嵌入式系统应用与实践的角度出发,以ARM处理器S3C4480为基础,阐述了嵌入式系统基本理论以其开发与应用方法。论文做到了可读性和实用性相结合。
This thesis takes developing embedded system as the background, which is popular at present, choosing the S3C44B0 processor which is built on the basis of ARM as the hardware foundation of this thesis. This thesis regards S3C44B0 as the core and develops a hardware platform which is embedded with uClinux operating system. The USB, the serial port and the interface of liquid crystal display are extended in this hardware platform which is regarded as the environment of studying the uClinux operating system, which shows the basic functions of a development environment. This thesis illuminates that the circuit theory of every part and the design method.The uClinux operating system is directly correlated with the hardware platform of the embedded system. The uClinux embedded is greatly different with different hardware. This thesis analyses the kernel of uClinux aiming at the designing hardware platform. According to the memory of the operating system and the management mechanism of the documentation, the design technique of miniaturization of the uClinux is achieved. On this basis, this thesis refers the uClinux operating system which has run successfully on the hardware platform of 4510. The transplant course of the uClinux is provided in detail. Some of the source code of the uClinux is modified and the modified content is provided also .At last, this thesis summarizes the keystone of modifying the source code, putting forward some issues we need to pay attention to, and realizes embedding and running of uClinux on this hardware platform.After embedding the operating system, this thesis regards liquid crystal display(LCD) as the object, studying and discussing the development of the driver, and designs the driver of the LCD concretely, presenting the method on how to compile the kernel.On the angle of application and practice of embedded system, this thesis illuminates the basic theory and the development of embedded system based on processor S3C44B0 of ARM. This thesis accomplishs the combination of the readability and practicability .
