高等教育大众化是当前我国高等教育发展的重要主题之一。基于我国现实国情，高等教育实现大众化发展仍存在相当的难度，推进这场改革的关键在于通过何种方式或途径以有效地促进高等教育大众化发展。日益增长的教育需求与有限的教育资源供给之间的矛盾局面促使人们在教育手段方面另辟蹊径。随着科学技术的迅猛发展，教育技术逐渐成为高等教育改革和发展的动力，充分开发利用教育技术将有力地促使高等教育加快大众化发展的进程。 回顾和反思教育技术的变迁史，国内外高等教育的历史性实践和经验已清晰地印证：教育技术是一个时代、一个国家或地区高等教育发展水平的重要标志之一，每一次教育技术革命都曾对高等教育的变革和发展提出严峻的挑战并产生革命性的影响。社会对高等教育的强烈需求需要现代教育技术的支撑，而现代教育技术将在高等教育领域产生深刻变革，从而使高等教育大众化教育体系的建设因为寻找到适合国情的现实道路和有力支撑而成为可能。因此，现代教育技术将成为21世纪高等教育的主要教学手段之一，我们应树立起与高等教育大众化发展相适应的人才观、教学观、资源观、规模观、发展观和价值观，以寻求高等教育大众化跨越式发展。 通过现代教育技术的广泛应用促进高等教育大众化发展不可避免地会导致一些问题，应注意以下两个方面：一是高等教育应利用现代教育技术的巨大作用逐步实现高科技水平与高人文素质、科学价值与人文价值的统一，从而消除教育技术化倾向所带来的负面影响；二是教育技术的进步并不足以完全替代传统教学形式的作用，而应达致现代教育技术与传统教学手段的完美融合。
Massification of the higher education is one of the most important topics about higher education development in our country currently. Based on the situation of our country,how to realize mass higher education still has certain difficulty. The key to push this reform is through which way to accelerate mass higher education effectively. The contradiction between the increasing educational requirement and limited educational resource impels people to find better way on educational measure. With the development of science and technology rapidly,the educational technology impel the reform and development of higher education,which can promote the course of the mass higher education.Through retrospect the vicissitude of the educational technology,the historic practice and experience about higher education development in the world verifies that the educational technology is the main sign about level of higher education for a country or area in some time. Every educational technology had challenged and influenced the reform and development of higher education fundamentally. The requirement for higher education of the society needs the support of the modern educational technology. At the same time,modern educational technology will bring profound reform in the higher education. Because of finding real way and support fit for the situation of our country,it"s possible to realize mass higher education system. Therefore,the modern educational technology will become necessary teaching measure in 21st century. We should establish person conception teaching conception resourceconception scale conception develop conception and value conception to adapt mass higher education and seek massification development rapidly.There are have some problem inevitably through the educational technology"s abroad application accelerate massification. We should pay attention to two aspects:one is higher education should make use of modern educational technology to realize unification of high-tech and high human diathesis science value and culture value,which can eliminate negative effect of the educational technology. Another is the educational technology"s progress can"t replace the function of traditional teaching form. We should permeate the modern educational technology and traditional teaching way perfectly.
