在当前的电子信息技术和网络技术高速发展的后PC时代，嵌入式系统已经广泛地渗透到科学研究、工程设计、军事技术、商业文化艺术、娱乐业以及人们日常生活中的方方面面。与此同时，采用Linux作为嵌入式操作系统已成为PDA技术发展的方向。因此，对嵌入式Linux的PDA研究具有非常重要的意义。 本文首先分析了PDA的定义、起源和未来的发展趋势。此后，在深入研究嵌入式系统的基础上，针对Linux实时性的缺陷和PDA实时性的要求，提出了对Linux的内核改造。通过综合分析比较，最后选择RTLinux进行理论研究和分析，并进行实时性能的测试。对于PDA系统设计上，采用了分层设计思想，使系统开发更加简洁和实用。同时，为使系统上看到PC机上美观的GUI，采用QT作为图形用户界面系统。具体分析了QT的原理和机制，并对QT的具体设计运用进行讨论。在程序设计中对PDA网络拨号进行关键讨论和设计。 最后，本文对未来PDA需要改进和发展的方向进行了探讨。
In the age of pervasive computing with the rapid development of the present electronic technology and network technology, the embedded system has already penetrated into all fields, such as scientific research, engineering design, military technology, commerce culture art and people"s daily life. At the same time, the system based on embedded linux has become the technical direction of PDA. Therefore, the great significance should be put on the research of embedded Linux PDA system.The paper firstly analyzes the PDA"s definition, origin and future devolpment trend. After this, on the base of the research deeply about the embedded system, combining the deficiency in real-time character of Linux and the demand of real-time feature of PDA, the writer puts forward the percept of reforming the inner-core of Linux. The paper adopts the multilayer design thinking on the PDA system design in order to make the system development more concise and useful. At the same time, for the sake of having the handsome graphics user interface in the embedded system, the paper adopts QT as the graphics user interface. Then, the paper gives out its analysis on the theory, mechanism, design and application of QT in details as well as the main design and discussion of the network dialup of PDA.In the end, the paper introduces the points to be impoved and developed about PDA.
