无线局域网WLAN是有线局域网的很好的延伸和补充,是一种更加灵活的数据通信系统,近年来发展十分迅速。但是由于无线局域网传输方式自身的特点以及IEEE 802.11协议本身的不完善,安全问题己经严重威胁无线局域网的进一步应用。而3G网络也是即将要应用的最大的通信网络之一,由于3G网络还没有投入使用,存在的安全问题还没有得到重视。本论文从WLAN和3G网络的安全性方面进行讨论,针对网络中的安全问题和安全技术(如EAP协议等其他安全技术),来研究和分析网络的安全性,并重点研究了3G与WLAN网络互连起来的安全问题,并给出了两者互连的安全性解决方案。 本论文开始介绍了论文的研究背景和内容,并给出了论文的组织结构和思路。 第二,三章介绍了无线局域网,无线局域网的优势,构成与应用方式,以及无线局域网的标准。之后介绍了无线局域网中的安全问题,无线网络的802.11协议中的安全机制(SSID,MAC地址过滤,WEP,Wi-Fi,RSN等),和其他的安全协议机制(WAPI,VPN)。第四章介绍了802.1x协议,描述了协议的认证体系结构,端口控制,协议认证流程和安全分析。重点介绍了802.1x协议中的核心协议可扩展认证协议(EAP协议),列举出了常见的一些EAP协议,并将它们进行对比。 第五章是本文的核心章节,本章首先介绍了3G网络,3G网络的安全性分析,安全体系结构,并对3G的安全机制进行分析,包括3G中的安全算法,认证和密钥分配,系统的AKA认证。接着描述了3G-WLAN互连中的安全问题,并给出了3G-WLAN互连时的安全解决方案。 最后一章中给出总结和展望,首先将本文给出的3G-WLAN互连安全解决方案和原有的其他方案进行对比,说明现有研究结果的局限性,并对未来的3G-WLAN互连安全工作进行了展望。
Wireless Local Area Network, is a very flexible data communication system, extends and makes up the LAN. The WLAN is booming these years. But because of the wireless transmition way and the faultiness of IEEE 802.11 protocol, security problem has become the biggest obstacle for the developing of the WLAN. 3G network is another very important network. It is one of the biggest communication networks going to be applied. But as 3G is not widely used now, security problems have not been emphasized on. This paper talk about the security problems in these two networks, did some research on 3G-WLAN link network based on EAP protocol and other security techonologies. This paper firstly introduces the background and details about research, then give the structure of our paper. The chapter two and three introduce the advantage, constructure,application and protocol of WLAN. Then talk about the security problems in WLAN, WLAN’s security technologies (SSID, MAC address filter, WEP, Wi-Fi, RSN etc) in 802.11 protocol and other security protocol like WAPI and VPN. In chapter 4, we described the 802.1x protocol, descride the verification structure, port control, protocol verification and security analysis. We also introduce the most important protocol-EAP protocol in 802.1x, list some usual EAP protocol, and compare them. Chapter Five is the most important chapter in this paper, it introduced 3G network, the security analysis and infrasture of 3G, analyze the 3G Security system, like 3G security algorithm, verification, private key distribution, AKA verification. Then this paper describes the 3G-WLAN security problems in interlinkage, and gives the 3G-WLAN link security solution. In the last chaper, we give summary and prospect, first we sum all the work we did in this paper and give the limitation of our research, then give a expectation to the future 3G-WLAN link security research.
