本文从句法、语义和语用的角度，对比了俄语的SVO三要素句、SV二要素句、VO二要素句、V型单要素句与汉语相应句子的语义结构，从语义的角度分析了俄语SV、VO、V型句元素缺省的原因。总结了俄语和汉语相对应的句子语义结构的异同之处。简要对比分析了SVO及SV型句的交际功能。 论文采用从俄语到汉语，从意义到形式的对比方法来阐明自己的观点和看法。
Chinese-English translation constitutes great difficulty inlanguage-language transformation, mainly owing to the two different culturesinvolved. This essay, in view of vocabulary and syntax, the two deepdiversities, attempts to seek some techniques by contrasts and analysis, thuspaving the way for translation practices. In demonstration, scores of exaniplesin transformation have been quoted for illustration. For various questions concerned, proofs and solutions are put forward. Inthe chapter of vocabulary, firstly, the essay discusses the historical differencesdue to diverse tradition and culture. Then, six perspectives are demonstrated toshow the divergences in thought. Special attention is given to illustratetechniques in the process of Chinese-English vocabulary translation. In termsof syntax, embarking from the discrepancies in philosophical foundation andsentence types, the paper elaborates skills in sentence translation and thetransformation of syntactic connotation. An additional chapter is devoted to theissue of untranslatability as it is unavoidable in the course of Chinese-Englishtranslation.
