On the basis of discussion about principles that geography feature classification and coding should follows, it puts forward the basic principles of military geographic information classification, namely, orienting to object and orienting to geography entity, and , according to these principles classifies military geographic feature. It also brings forward the coding methods, namely, one base and four extension, and, base on the methods, finishes the geographic feature coding. At last, through coordinate conversion, the paper accomplishes the pick-up of geometric data of military geography feature from existed military digital map data and puts forward three algorithms to obtain attribute data from geometric data of military geographic information feature.
