核心竞争力是企业获取竞争优势的根源,是企业在特定经营环境中的竞争能力和竞争优势的有机结合。企业核心竞争力具备价值性、独特性、延展性等多种特征,企业核心竞争力的培育可以通过内部开发及外部培养等多种途径进行。核心竞争力已经成为企业战略管理活动的主线,成为企业制胜未来的基础。 全文共分为六章。前三章为理论篇,简要概述了企业核心竞争力的内涵和构建途径;后三篇为实践篇,以新东方教育科技集团作为理论的实证研究对象,分析了该企业核心竞争力的构建要素,企业核心能力,及基于核心竞争力的企业竞争战略。 第一章简要回顾企业战略理论和企业能力理论的三大流派,核心竞争力理论也是这三大流派中的重要理论之一。 第二章具体分析了核心竞争力的内涵,从经济学角度追溯核心竞争力的本源,归纳出本文对核心竞争力概念的看法;本章还讨论了核心竞争力的特征,以及核心竞争力理论研究中的几个问题。 第三章着重讨论核心竞争力的培育问题,通过分析企业核心竞争力的构建要素,总结企业核心竞争力培育的思路、方法和途径。创新是构建企业核心竞争力的重要方法,本章重点讨论了技术创新、组织创新和知识创新这三种类型。 第四章开始进入理论的实践环节,从分析英语培训行业入手,对新东方教育科技集团作简要概述。 第五章以新东方的核心竞争力为研究对象,重点分析了集团的核心要素,再进一步分析其核心能力,从而得出新东方核心竞争力的描述及表现特征,再以核心竞争力为基础分析了新东方的竞争战略。 第六章中分析了新东方对我国企业,尤其是服务业,及高等教育的启示,认为高等教育日益呈现产业化趋势,现代大学也需构建核心竞争力。
Serving as the source of competitive advantages, core competence is the combination of various capabilities of corporations and their competitive advantages in special surroundings. Core competence possesses many features, such as specialty, valuable, extensive, etc. And diversified means can be adopted to accumulate these competences within the corporations. Nowadays, this concept has become the guide of corporations’strateigic management and the foundation of success in future. Core competence of corporation is the major subject of this paper, which is going to analyze the recognition and accumulation of core competence and apply the theory to a corporation in the empirical research. The paper includes six chapters, the first three parts of which devote to the theoretical research. Chapter One reviews the theory of company strategy. Chapter Two goes into details on the essence of core competence, tracing back its origin from the view of economics, comparing different views on core competence and including its characteristics in this part. Chapter Three focuses on the accumulation of core competence, in which its components, the ideology and means of accumulation are the major concern of the author. Innovation is the essence of core competence, so three forms of innovation are also included in this chapter. While the first three chapters are mainly concerned about the theory, the latter part of the paper is about the application of theory. Chapter Four gives a brief idea about the training servie and a general review of New Oriental Group. Chapter Five is the empirical part of this paper, which firstly analyzes the essential elements of NOS’core competence, then its core capabilities and the description of the core competence. Based on the above, the group’s competitive strategy is another major conern. The last chapter draws conclusions according to the above analysis and throws light on the reform of the advanced education of China.
