以文艺来探索中国现代化的进程是瞿秋白进行文艺活动的动力。因而现代化道路的选择也必然会影响瞿秋白的文艺观。瞿秋白在选择了苏俄马克思主义的现代化道路后,文艺上也成为马克思主义文论家。这种变化表现在两个方面,本文分两章对这两个方面分别做了论述。 第一章是对“反欧化”课题考察。瞿秋白早期提倡欧化的启蒙主义,后期却坚定地反欧化。苏俄的马克思主义现代化道路不同于欧洲的资产阶级改革,因而在文艺上也否定了资产阶级的“民主”、“科学”的观念。瞿秋白接受了这一整套的价值观,因而在文艺上开始否定他在五四时期所提倡的“启蒙主义”。文艺的社会功能不但要反传统,还要反欧化。这带给瞿秋白的影响是,不再把马克思主义看作启蒙主义的一部分,相反,两者的关系是对立的。这样一种转变使得瞿秋白加强了对唯物主义文艺观的理解,但也同时使他忽略了对苏俄和中国文学中非左翼思潮的客观评价和接受。 第二章是对“大众文艺”课题的考察。瞿秋白选择的现代化道路使他从以前的“精英文艺”转到“大众文艺”。但是脱胎于传统文化的瞿秋白并不能在心理层面真正地接受自己提倡的“大众文艺”。这给瞿秋白的心理和文学批评都带来了巨大的矛盾,以致瞿秋白认为自己已经人格分裂了。这提醒我们,“大众文艺”这条道路并不是处理传统文化和外来资源关系的一种好的方法,而按照“大众文艺”标准所接受的苏俄资源也不会是苏俄文艺的原貌。
With literature and art, the exploration of Chinese modernization progress is the motive of Qu Qiubai to carry on the literary and artistic activities. As a result, the choice of the modernization"s way does necessarily influence on the Qu Qiubai"s standpoint on the literature and art. Qu Qiubai became a Marxism literature theorist after he had chosen the way of Marxism of Soviet Union and Russia. The change is showed in two aspects. The dissertation will separately discuss them in two chapters.The first chapter discusses the problem of anti- Europeanization. Qu Qiubai was firmly against to the Europeanization, though he had advocated the Europeanized enlightenment on his early stage. The way of modernization of Marxism of Soviet Union was different from the European capitalist reform, therefore it also opposed to the ideas of democracy and science of capitalist in literature and art. Qu Qiubai accepted the whole sorts of these value senses, so he opposed to the "enlightenment" that was advocated during the New culture movement period. The social function was not against to the convention, but also opposed to the Europeanization. The influence on Qu Qiubai was that he did not consider the Marxism as the part of the enlightenment, in contrast, he thought the relationship between each other was opposite. The change made Qu understand the view of literature and art more thoroughly, and it also made him overlook the objective evaluation and acceptation to theleft trend of thought in the Soviet Union and Chinese literature.The second chapter discusses the problem of mass literature and art. The way of modernization selected by Qu made his attention transform from "elite literature and art " to "mass literature and art". But Qu Qiubai, who emerging from the traditional culture, could not really accept the "mass literature art" advocated by himself. It took the tremendous contradiction to the psychological and literary criticism, that make him found his personality was split. It reminds us, the way of "mass literature and art" is not the suitable method to deal with the relationship between traditional culture and foreign natural resources, what"s more, the resources accepted in the standard of "mass literature and art" are not the original appearanceof Soviet Union literature and art.
